The Joys of Parenthood

Hello Everybody!

This month Dolce Stamps and Cards Online Store is featuring Local Rubber King Stamps.

I found a tutorial for a Center Step Card.......Here , and decided to give it a try.  I scaled the size down to a

5 1/2 by 4 1/4 card base.

This sweet mother and baby giraffe image is from the set called Love Reaches New Heights  I just had to

have this stamp!  I stamped it twice with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and cut the mother out and popped her

up for added dimension.  The side panels are embossed with the Dots Sizzex embossing folder.  I die cut 2

of the smallest stars from Spellbinders Stars and embellished the with some buttons and blue gingham ribbon

to frame the sentiment.  Be sure and stop by the Dolce Stamps and Cards Blog and see what the rest of the

Design Team  has created.

  3. Ellen, like you, I love new techniques but this is one I haven't tried yet. Your image is just adorable and I love the gingham ribbon...the perfect touch for your baby card. Looks as if you mastered the center step card.
