Friendship Valentine

Hello Everybody!

As you can see I am still working on Valentines.  I stamped this funky martini image by Impression Obsession that comes in the set My Funky Valentine-3110-XL in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored it with Copics RV10, RV11, RV13, E23, E27, E39, C00, and C1.   I also stamped the Elegant Bow-D6185 from Impression Obsession and colored it with R81, R83, and R85. I fussy cut it out and adhered it across the martini image.

I Cut it out with a Spellbinders Rectangle die and sponged it with Memento Angel pink before popping it out of the die.  I Punched a tag out and  used inked only part of the sentiment Love and Friendship-B6933, using only the word friendship in Memeneto Rich Cocoa.

For the card base I used Sizzix Tim Holtz Swirls  Embossing Folder and sponged it with Angel pink. The beautiful border is from Parisian Accents by Spellbinders and 2 different sized punched hearts.  I sponged all the pink hearts with pink and all the red hearts with cocoa.  Added some bling but it was still missing something so I whipped up some homemade shimmer spritz  and sprayed the whole card with it. I could not capture the sparkle  in the picture no matter how hard I tried. I added some Judikin's Diamond Glaze to the glass parts and tried to add to glitter to the rim and around the tag.  Don't buy the dollar store glue pen ~ Sometimes you get exactly what you pay for.  It went straight to the garbage can.

Here is the inside.

Thanks for stopping by  and have a fabulous day!!

Ellen

  4. El darling, like wow, girl! I honestly dont think I've ever seen such fabulous coloring. Your pinks are just gorgeous together. Beautiful everything on this, El! Oh my! I need to call your office and schedule 2 full weeks of painting instruction. I'm not a fast learner, so let me ask you this: do you give discounts if a student needs 3 weeks of intensive instruction. Your prices are a little steep, if you know what I mean. Love you.
