Happy Easter Everyone! The Easter Bunny has been here and left lots of goodies. Hope he stopped at your house too!
I made this for the Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoaststampers today. I cased this awesome card! You should check out her gallery, she does cas so well! I struggle with white space, so I was very inspired by her gallery.
I just love these adorable Rubbernecker-Chicks w/ Chicklets SKU:565-06! They are so fun to color only $3.95!
I colored them with Copics (Chicks-Y11, Y21, Y23, YR12, YR15, YR18. Grass-YG61, YG63, YG67)and Die cut them with a Spellbinders Lacey Oval. I wove some Really Reasonable Ribbon Seam Binding through the holes and added some pearls. Popped it up with 3d dots onto the card base. I scored a frame at 1/8" and a1/4".
You can still play in the Stampin' Sisterhood Challenge. You will find the link at the top of my side bar on the right.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoy the rest of your Easter weekend!!
Ellen
This card is so well done! I especially like the way you used ribbon in the die cut! That grass looks kind of 3D. I can almost feel it beneath my feet!
ReplyDeleteI love how you colored the chicks. They almost look watercolored. Great work with those Copics. The woven ribbon is a very nice touch, too.
ReplyDeleteHi Ellen ! Your card is so adorable and coloured so beautifully ! Love that ribbon thru the die, very creative. Glad to hear that the Easter Bunny brought you lots of goodies. We had too much chocolate here... Have a great week, Hugs,Shirley

This is sooo cute, Ellen....you have used such a darling RN image and I love how you laced the ribbon around the image....your coloring is fabulous, too!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow cute are these chicklets and the chick. And, your ribbon threaded through the die cut is sooooo pretty! I spent Easter in the ER with my hubby....seven hours. Not to worry, everything is fine now. He had an infection with fever, teeth chattering chills, etc. I'll remember this as my worst Easter. Oh, it could have been worse so I'll get over it and look forward to next Easter.
ReplyDeleteStinkin' cute as can be! Love the ribbon treatment.
