Heartfelt Little Greeting

Daisies always seem to lift my spirits!  They are bright and cheery, but so tough, its' one of the last flowers to die off as the cold weather starts to creep in. I find them very inspiring.  So I figured this cute little Impression Obsession  Heartfelt Daisy C8322  would pair wonderfully with A Little Greeting D8698

Sometimes I need to try and make a CAS card  because I find it the most difficult kind of card to make!! I embossed the top panel with a Cuttlebug folder, then die cut the oval with Spellbinders Filigree Delight.  It has been popped up over the sentiment layer.  I colored this daisy up with Copics and added some Stardust Stickles over the heart, then tucked the daisy in between the two layers.  Pretty quick and easy!

Starting Monday the  Impression Obsession design team has a 5 day blog hop of CHA new releases with daily prizes and inspiration all through the week.  So stay tuned!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!!!!

  2. Beautiful design Ellen, quite elegant. I like how you've picked a mat that matches the daisy center. The bling is awesome! I can see that the inside matches the outside as well, lots of work! Have a great weekend, Shirleyx

  7. Sure can't tell by this awesome design that you struggle with CAS. I just love how this turned out and the little pops of yellow and black are perfect.

  8. A very pretty card, Ellen. Black and white makes gorgeous cards. The touch of yellow just enhanced it. Love the gem embellishments, too.

  9. Love this card too! What a neat way to use this daisy heart stamp! Until now, I have never seen this stamp ever used in a way that I liked. I have a clear set with this stamp in it and have never known what to do with it. Thanks for the inspiration. This is an outstanding card! Love the colors and the gems too. :) Thanks for sharing.
