IO Die Blog Hop~Day Three

Hello Friends~

Welcome to day 3 of the IO Design Team Blog Hop!  We are showcasing the FABULOUS NEW IO DIES!!  Here is how you can participate and have a chance to win 3 Dies or 3 Die Sets of your choice to be awarded each day: Just leave a comment on each IO dt's blog as well as the IO blog. Good Luck!!

Also the new Impression Obsession Challenge starts today. Check it out while you stop at the IO blog~we would love to see you play along!!

Here is how to create this card.....

Peel the backing off of a double sided adhesive sheet.....

Attach a piece of card stock that is cut at the same size to the exposed adhesive......

Die cut Birch Trees DIE079......

Hand cut 2 snow hills from card stock with the double sided adhesive attached......

Remove the die cut birch trees and birds, exposing the sticky adhesive side.....

Burnish in Rock Candy Dry Stickles Glitter to the trees and the snow banks (this actually uses very little glitter and the rest can be poured back into the bottle)......

Adhere the first snowbank to a piece of Silver Mirror paper.......

Add adhesive to the back of the birch trees using a glue pen.......

Burnish the birds with Elizabeth Craft Regal Red Jewel Glitter Ritz.......

To create the red mat, attach 1/4" Scor-Tape to the edges of the card stock......

Peel the backing off and burnish with Regal Red Glitter.......

Brush off excess glitter....

Now that we have all our glittering done, lets put it together!
Adhere the first snowbank to a piece of Silver Mirror paper.......

Add adhesive to the back of the birch trees and birds using a glue pen.  Attach them to your card........

Using Pop Dots, pop the second snow bank up......

Die cut  Sm Deer DIE117-C in Silver Mirror paper and tuck one behind the first snow hill and pop the second one up on the first snow hill. Layer it over your red glittered mat and attach to your card base.....

Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
Ellen

  30. One of the most stunningly gorgeous cards I have seen in a long time. The glittery white on silver gives almost a tone-on-tone effect which I find exquisitely elegant. The deep red glitter gives exactly the right amt of accent w/o being overdone. This card is a perfect 10.
