I have so many favorite techniques so it was hard to choose!  I love funky folds  so I started with a Center Step Card.  I also love how just a sponge dauber and ink can change the look of a project.  I don't create very many projects without distressing the edges of my card stock.  I created the clouds behind this fun Halloween sentiment from the Have Broom Will Travel Clear Set cl488  with a hand cut cloud shape and Memento London Fog Ink. The edges were distressed with  Lulu Lavender and Grape Jelly.

The side panels were stamped with Cover A Card Spider Web CC141  and Brilliance Moonlight and and clear embossed with Imagine Crafts Clear Embossing Powder.  I used  just a few of the fun new Halloween dies to finish off spooky creation, Halloween Set DIE114-O , Ghosts DIE121-E  I think my favorite is the awesome cats in the Cat Die Set DIE083-K.

We would love to see your creations, so hop on over to the IO blog and join in the fun!
Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!

Be The Change

 Hello Friends!

I made so many leaves the other day for my the    Impression Obsession Challenge card that I had enough left over to use them to create a fall wreath to frame my sentiment.
Cover A Card Tree Line CC099 and Change The World C5313 were stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia and embossed with Imagine Crafts Clear Embossing Powder. Lots of sponging on the leaves and tree line with the Memento ink colors listed below.

The current IO challenge is open until October 15th. You can find all the details to play along on the

IO Challenge ~ Colors of Fall

  Hello Friends!

It's Thursday and that means it's time for another Impression Obsession challenge.  This weeks challenge is "Colors of Fall".

Create a card or project with "Colors of Fall" and you could win a $25 gift certificate to the IO store store, just simply by playing along!!  Who doesn't love free shopping!!  Just go to the IO Blog for the details on how to play. Be inspired and check out what colorful creations  the talented IO ladies are sharing.....

   IO Blog

Here is how I created these leaves and watermarked with out a stamp....

I die cut several leaves with the new Sm. Leaf DIE095-D and sponged them with Memento inks. To give them more dimension, I put them face down on a foam mat and rolled my stylus in a circular motion over the backs of them.  This gorgeous sentiment, Autumn Mosaic D5529 was stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia and embossed with Imagine Crafts Clear Embossing Powder.

To watermark the leaves behind the sentiment, just set negative from the Sm. Leaf Die cut over top of the sentiment and simply press the Versamark Pad directly over it. Easy peasy!

I hope you play along with us this week! We would love to see your creations!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Halloween Mini Pumpkins

Hello Friends!

I have been a busy girl these last 2 weeks.  I have a few irons in the fire at the moment, to say the least.  I have been creating for our upcoming Pampered Crafter's Retreat and have lots of projects that I just can't show yet as well as subbing at school and my drama club is up and running with 40 plus kids participating.  So I apologize for not visiting anybody or checking my emails in the last few weeks!  I will be running like crazy putting the finishing touches on everything but will catch up gradually.  In the meantime, my blog will be on auto pilot and sharing some projects with you.

Halloween is pretty big at my house and every year I always did crafty things with my kids.  One of their favorites things to do was to alter real mini pumpkins.  IO dies made it pretty quick and easy this year!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!!
