DT Thursday~Bluebirds

Hello Friends!

It's my turn to share for Impression Obsession's Dt Thursday.  Here's the how to for this easy emboss resist card.....

1~ Stamp Silhouette 5-D5555 Impression Obsession's Silhouette 5 with Versamark on a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of glossy card stock.

2~Heat emboss it with Clear Embossing Powder.

3~Brayer Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze from one edge to the middle.  Rotate card stock 180 degrees and brayer again meeting in the middle.

4~Wipe with a tissue to remove excess ink of embossed feathers to reveal the crisp white color.

5~Die cut  2 of the birds from the Bird Set Die DIE033-J .  Using a Sponge Dauber ink the edges of the circle and 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card base as well as color the birds. I used ink from the same Kaleidacolor pad, the arrow shows you which ink I used.

6~Die Cut a circle from glossy card stock and brayer using the same ink and method in step 3.

7~ Layer over a larger circle and stamp Hanging Out C8727 with Brilliance Moonlight White Ink.

 .
8~ Assemble your card. The white mat is 5 1/4" x 4".  I added some seam binding and popped one of the birds up.

 On to my card....

The white mat was die cut with Square Cutout Border DIE172-I and embossed with a Sizzix Embossing Folder.  The edges were sponged with Memento Desert Sand and Thankful C9425 was stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia and embossed with clear embossing powder. Before adhering it to the card base it was wrapped with burlap twine several times.

Wheat DIE085-X was colored with Prisma Pencils and adhered to white mat.

Pumpkin Pair E9419 was colored with Copic Markers and popped up over the wheat for added dimension.

I sponged the edges of 5 Mark Richards Candi with Memento Rich Cocoa and popped only the brown ones up.  A Burlap Twine bow was added to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!!
